The price of delivery is calculated by the weight of the parcel.
Parcels under 2KG will be sent Royal Mail Tracked, and parcels over 2KG will be sent via UPS or FedEx.

How do pre-orders work?
When you pre-order a book from us, the payment is taken at checkout, not when the book ships. Your book will be dispatched on the publication date or earlier, if circumstances permit. If there are any delays to the shipment of your preorder for any reason, we will be in touch with updates. Please note that if you purchase another book alongside a preorder, both items will be shipped together. Similarly, if you order two books with different publication dates, both books will be shipped on the latter date. If you would like one item to arrive sooner, please place a separate order to suit your delivery needs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via the link below.
What's your refund & return policy?
We want you to have the very best experience when shopping with Dryad Books. We accept returns, no questions asked – but we do have several conditions. We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 2 weeks after the date you receive your parcel to request a return. Return requests made after two weeks will be refused. All returns must be in the same condition as received – unused, and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse returns if they are not in satisfactory condition. To request a return, email us at hello@dryad-books.co.uk or use the contact form on our website. You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning your purchase to us. Once we have received your return, you will be refunded for the cost of your purchase; we will notify you once this has been issued.
I'm an author and I want Dryad Books to stock my book! How do I get it on the (virtual) shelves?
Firstly, thank you for thinking of us – it's a huge honour!
Get in touch with us via email (hello@dryad-books.co.uk) and tell us about your book. If you can, please attach an e-copy to the email, so we can assess whether the book will be a good fit for our customer base. Even though we'd love to, we don't have the space or resources to say yes to everyone.
Please note that we stock: fantasy, sci-fi, horror, speculative fiction, and folklore/mythology (fiction & non-fiction).
